What’s cooking at The Royal Oak
We like to keep things simple at the Royal Oak when we prepare your meal and bring it to your table.
Our head chef mixes traditional pub food with contemporary cuisine and our great quality and full flavour start with the finest and best seasonal ingredients.
Food is served seven days a week lunchtime from 12 till 2:30 pm and dinner from 6 pm till 9 pm (6 pm to 8 pm on Sunday).
We do take reservations in the lounge bar, please contact us on (01822) 852944. We offer a children’s menu and they are welcome to dine in the lounge at anytime, but please note, children under 8 are not allowed in the bar in the evening.
Group bookings are welcome whether for a celebratory meal, an organised walking group, or a local club or society please give as a call to discuss your requirements.
All our food is sourced from local suppliers, namely our beef, lamb, venison, pork and pony which is all from Dartmoor producers.
