What’s cooking at The Royal Oak

We like to keep things simple at the Royal Oak when we prepare your meal and bring it to your table.

The pub is open in accordance with current government guidlines.

We are doing takeaway food on a Friday evening only between the hours of 5pm and 8pm. It will be a limited menu, fish and burgers.

You must now book a table inside or outside for lunch or dinner, from 2nd December, to enjoy great food like our fantastic roasted beetroot and goats cheese salad or our legendary mixed grill from our new menu. Why not try a fantastic pint of Meavy Oak ale or a couple of refreshing pints of Oak Pale Craft Ale as well.

You should book in advance if you wish to visit for food as we will only take walk-ins when there’s availability. Bookings can be made for groups of a maximim of 6 people and are limited to one household per table. Please contact us directly on 01822 852944.

We’ve got plenty of outdoor seating, so when the weather is good you can spend some time enjoying the last of the great British summer sun with an ice cold beverage – one that you haven’t had to serve yourself.

See bottom of page for full details of current food and drink opening times.
