Local slow grown, slow matured beef and lamb...
it's the only way

Without exception, the slow growing, slow maturing approach to rearing Dartmoor’s native, grass-fed livestock gives its meat exceptional flavour and quality.

Sheep grazing on Dartmoor

With beef and lamb from Dartmoor Farmers, you can now experience for yourself these unique flavours direct from the farm gate, supplied to the Royal Oak Inn by a group of hill farmers who’s families have farmed Dartmoor for generations, right in the heart of Devon.

By doing so, you are also supporting their unique way of life, enabling them to continue working the uplands of the moor, preserving the beautiful landscapes steeped in history that so many people enjoy each year.

We encourage you to treat yourselves to a taste of Dartmoor, at The Royal Oak Inn, while supporting a unique way of life in the heart of Devon.
